Duj'yay Class

The Duj'yay Class is the newest cruiser in the Klingon fleet. The beginning of it's use will mark the end of production for the Vor'cha Class. It was developed by the House of cheng, and after the cheng produced a significant run of them exclusively, they licensed the design for production by other yards as well.
The Duj'yay class is not a significant weapons upgrade over the Vor'cha, it does not have the large central cannon many Klingon starships are known for. However, it is notably faster than other Klingon vessels, and it's variable-geometry nacelles make it significantly more maneuverable at impulse, because the nacelle strut shear is no longer an issue.
The creation of the Duj'yay was prompted by increased sharing of technology between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. It is designed to integrate Federation and Klingon technologies in a much more compatible fashion. It is one of the few Klingon ships to use Ablative Armor instead of traditional armor plating, and Bio-Neural Gel Packs for computer processing tasks.
