In his preferred form of MacLean he comes across as thoughtful and introspective preferring to listen to others before speaking up. Easy going with a great sense of humor and a quick wit he enjoys the company of others. Entering Starfleet through a non-traditional path and working covert ops he carries himself with the informality of the special operations community. Each of the other aliases displays different personalities and mannerisms from that of MacLean.

History
Very little is known of the Chameloid known as Kiernan MacLean prior to his arrival at Starbase 503 in the heart of the Badlands in mid 2375. He presented himself to the station’s Chief Intelligence Officer and offered his services. Not interested, the intelligence officer dismissed the Chameloid. MacLean explained that he had been gathering intelligence for the Romulan Empire on Cardassian troop movements for the past year and felt the data he’d obtained would serve the Federation better then the Romulans. After providing a few key details, and shape changing to mimic the CIO, he was fully debriefed. The information proved pivotal in developing the battle strategy used to defeat the Dominion forces and end the war. Shortly thereafter he was recruited by Starfleet Intelligence and underwent formalized training as an infiltration specialist. He spent the next six years as an operator working covert ops gathering intelligence and conducting other clandestine missions. In 2383, MacLean was selected for the Intelligence Officer’s Course and upon completing the course in 2384 was commissioned an ensign and assigned to the USS Sizemore-B.
