History
At the age of 18 Krolgh enrolled in the Klingon academy with the intention of following in his father’s footsteps and becoming an Engineering officer onboard a Bird of Prey, three years into the course it was generally accepted by both Krolgh and his instructors that he did not have the aptitude for Engineering, but what he did have was tactical awareness so Krolgh resigned from the course and went to work as a Gunner's Mate on the IKS Slaughtered Tribble as he’d completed enough basic training at the academy he was granted an enlisted rank.
Krolgh served with distinction at his post proving time and time again a valuable crewmember and despite his large size a deft touch with the ships weapons controls. It was after his ninth year on the Skinner that Krolgh was asked to train the new Security and Tactical intakes from the Academy about the proper protocols onboard the ship and to teach them about the Skinners little quirks, many of which could be fatal if ignored or taken to lightly. At this time Krolgh was still a Gunner a job he enjoyed doing, but it was obvious even to him that he was being prepared for the post of Chief of the Boat.
With the depature of Ta'pez and his crew to Starbase KDB, many of the remaining crew were given high-ranking positions due to their long years of service. Krolgh landed the spot as first officer.
Appearance
Krolgh is tall even for a Klingon, at 6’11 he towers over most people and added to this is his bulk of 19 stones of muscle which is even more impressive considering Krolgh is 40 years old an age where a lot of his fellow Klingons start to develop the beginnings of a spare tyre around the stomach, in fact the only indication as to Krolgh’s true age is the greying of his beard and moustache.
Personality
Krolgh is loyal to the Empire, his ship mates and his families honour. He has had enough experience to learn that its not always best to jump in with both feet first, sometimes brain is better than brawn, but there are times he finds it hard to resist just pilling headlong into the fight and sort out the consequences later.
